You are No Victim of Fate

                                In The Power of Awareness, Neville Goddard teaches that awareness is the creative force behind all human experience. The great benefit of developing this power is that it allows us to consciously direct our thoughts and emotions toward what we truly desire. When one becomes aware of being the cause, rather than the victim, of external conditions, life begins to unfold with intention and grace. Awareness gives us mastery over our inner state — the recognition that “I AM” is the foundation of all creation. With this understanding, a person no longer reacts blindly to circumstances but instead shapes them through the disciplined use of imagination and feeling.
  
                                The conscious use of awareness also brings about emotional freedom and peace of mind. When we recognize that everything begins in consciousness, we no longer need to struggle against appearances or depend on others for our happiness. Instead, we align with the truth that what we assume and feel to be true must eventually appear in our world. This power transforms relationships, health, and prosperity because it dissolves the illusion of separation between ourselves and our desires. The individual who cultivates awareness lives from a state of inner assurance, knowing that outer changes are reflections of inner conviction.

                               On the other hand, the lack of awareness leaves one at the mercy of appearances and conditions. When we live unconsciously — reacting to the world rather than creating from within — we perpetuate cycles of fear, limitation, and disappointment. Neville warns that ignorance of the power of awareness leads people to believe they are victims of fate, luck, or the actions of others. This mistaken identity keeps one trapped in a state of powerlessness and frustration. Without awareness, life seems random and unjust; with it, life becomes a mirror of divine order and personal responsibility. Ultimately, awareness is not only the key to creative power but also the path to spiritual awakening.
